droog is a Dutch design company founded in 1993 by designer Gijs Bakker and Renny Ramakers, art historian and design critic.

Truly a laboratory of experiment, this group of talents has revolutionised approaches to design and inspired an incredible number of young designers. Now a veritable company, droog has for the past 15 years displayed unfailing commitment to promoting a new way of thinking about and making design.

Freed from market diktats, droog reinvents objects and forms, tirelessly challenging their functions and scrambling our perceptions. Several of their pieces are held in the MoMA design collection.
